Privacy policy
Last updated 5 July 2026.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have. We keep it to the minimum needed to talk to you and run this website.
Who we are
Wrightserve is a software studio based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. For anything to do with your data, email hello@wrightserve.com.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, company (if you give one) and the message you send us. We don't ask for anything we don't need in order to reply.
Like most websites, our hosting keeps basic server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running. We don't use these to identify you.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count visits, see which pages are popular, and measure how quickly pages load for real visitors. Both are privacy-friendly and cookieless: they don't set cookies, don't track you across other sites, and don't build a profile of you or identify you.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry details only to read and reply to your message, and, if we go on to work together, to keep a record of our conversation. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch. Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data or share it for marketing. We rely on a few trusted providers to run the site and deliver your message: Resend delivers the contact-form email to us, Vercel hosts the website and its serverless functions and provides the privacy-friendly analytics and performance monitoring described above, and Cloudflare provides DNS and content delivery. They process data only on our instructions. Where any of them process data outside the UK, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Server logs are kept only for a short period by our hosting provider. If you'd like your enquiry deleted, just ask.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, and receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these, email hello@wrightserve.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page along with the date shown above.
